Wordbirds™ Class Policies and Terms
 

Attendance & Missed Classes
Registration reserves your spot for the full session. Missed classes are not refundable and cannot be made up unless a makeup class is offered. If Wordbirds must cancel a class, a makeup/credit will be provided.

 

Caregiver Participation

A caregiver must remain with the child at all times. Active caregiver participation is encouraged. 

 

Health & Illness
To ensure a healthy class environment, please do not attend if your child has had fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or contagious illness within the last 24–48 hours. 

 

Refunds & Cancellations
Tuition is non-refundable once the session begins. If cancellation occurs before the session starts, partial refunds or credits may be offered at the discretion of Wordbirds. No refunds are issued for missed classes, travel, personal schedule changes, or other absences.

 

Safety
Caregivers are responsible for supervising their child at all times, particularly around small instruments and movement props. Movement encouraged but caregivers should ensure safe participation. Wordbirds is not responsible for injuries resulting from lack of caregiver supervision.

 

Location & Punctuality

Class location details are shared upon registration for safety and privacy. Please arrive a few minutes early so class can begin on time. 

 

Personal Belongings

Wordbirds is not responsible for lost or damaged items. Please label all personal belongings. 

 

Food & Allergens

Please avoid bringing snacks containing common allergens into class. 

 

Liability

Participation in Wordbirds classes involves movement and activities that carry inherent risks of injury. By attending, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation. You agree to release and hold harmless Wordbirds LLC, its instructors, employees, contractors, volunteers and hosting facility from liability, claims, or demands for injuries,  damages or losses that may occur during participation in the class, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

 

Wordbirds classes and materials are not a substitute for speech therapy, classes are designed to encourage early communication but do not replace professional services. Instructors are not licensed speech therapists.
